The Restore Folders application registers each mail folder on the Lotus Domino server and remembers the location of each document in the folders (based on the Document ID). When a folder is deleted, this change is identified by the restore folders application.

Folder recovery can be arranged immediately by just pushing a button in the restore folders application. Documents, which were available in the folder, are restored to the correct location automatically.

Your users are allowed to recover deleted folders back to their own mail files and to import  (a selection of) folders from one database and store these folders in another database (sufficient access needed).

2) A user or users already removed important folder(s). Implement the Restore Folders application and save yourself and your user a lot of time. You only have to recover the deleted folder from a backup database and your user can copy his or her  folders locally to the new database.
